Terms and Conditions

We run a friendly bed and breakfast at Chuckles and terms and conditions are not really our thing. However, needs must, and there are a few points we would ask you to take note of. Please remember, when you make a booking you enter into a legal contract with us. As we have stated, we are a small establishment and any cancellation, 'no-show' or curtailment will impact on us. We would therefore request that you provide a minimum of 24 hours notice if a cancellation is to be made or the full price of the accommodation will be charged unless the room can be re-let to another party. In the event of a curtailment (i.e. cutting short a booked stay), should we be unable to re-book the room (despite our best efforts), a compensation of at least 50% of the total cost remaining will be charged. We accept debit and credit cards (other than Diner and Amex). However please note there is a £1.00 surcharge for debt cards and 3% for credit cards (per transaction). Checking-in is from 12:30 pm*. If you are going to be later than the arrival time stated when booking, please let us know of your new arrival time as soon as possible. If you do not inform us and have not arrived within 2 hours of your stated time we may offer your room to other customers, and any deposit will be retained. *Unless by prior arrangement.
