In addition to its cathedral and other historical interests, the City of Derby as been undergoing something of a cultural renaissance in recent times, with a new Art Centre, theatres, cinemas, museums and a wealth of bars and nightlife. Being within easy reach of the Peak District National Part, the city also makes a great starting point for exploring the region.
